Adrian R. Levy is a professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Community Health at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. His research focuses on improving the health of individuals and of populations. Using a systems approach, his research focuses on improving the functioning and behaviour of health systems that seek to deliver rapid access to high-quality, cost-effective and equitable care. He advocates for a complex adaptive systems approach that incorporates computational models of social systems informed by robust health and related data to inform Canadian federal and provincial policies for pandemic preparedness and response.
