Alexandre Catta is a candidate for Wilfrid Laurier University’s master of public policy at the Balsillie School of International Affairs (BSIA), through Wilfrid Laurier University.

His research has focussed on the geopolitical and geo-economic challenges and opportunities posed by the rise of China in the twenty-first century. His interests in scenario planning, natural resources and energy policies, and in the study of traditional and emerging security challenges, have greatly influenced his work while attending the BSIA. He will be exploring central and far east Asia after his degree through professional opportunities in China and Kyrgyzstan.
