Bio
The Honourable Catherine McKenna is a Canadian lawyer and former politician who served as a Cabinet minister from 2015 to 2021.
McKenna previously worked as a lawyer in Canada and Indonesia and as a negotiator with the UN mission in East Timor, and taught at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto. She also co-founded the charitable organization Level Justice.
McKenna holds degrees from the University of Toronto, the London School of Economics and Political Science, and McGill University’s Faculty of Law.
