Bio

Daniel Munro is a Senior Fellow in the Innovation Policy Lab at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto, and Co-Director of Shift Insights. Dan’s research focuses on ethics and public policy, including the ethics of innovation and emerging technologies, distributive justice, and skills and education. Previously, Dan was a Fellow at the Brookfield Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Associate Director of Public Policy at the Conference Board of Canada and Senior Analyst at the Council of Canadian Academies. He has held academic positions in political science and philosophy at the University of Ottawa, Queen’s University and the University of Toronto Mississauga. Dan holds degrees from the University of Toronto (BA), Western University (MA) and M.I.T. (PhD).
