We accelerate the development and adoption of digital technologies that keep Canadians healthy, address climate change and drive economic productivity.

Karen leads a $300+ million portfolio of investments in digital innovation projects focused on developing digital technologies that keep Canadians healthy, protecting our environment and address climate change, and drive economic productivity. The Supercluster's cross-sector community is made up of 1000+ industry, academic and public sector partners collaborating and achieving technology breakthroughs that no one company could do alone. To date, Supercluster programs have resulted in 130+ Canadian-owned IP assets and with the potential of generating $1.3+ billion in additional revenue for businesses growing in Canada and on the global stage.

By applying her broad experience in leading complex programs at global, national and regional scales, she brings a strategic, yet pragmatic perspective to investing in world-class initiatives. Karen has led some of the most complex “firsts” and “never-done-before” initiatives in the information technology, healthcare, and financial services sectors.

Karen holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
