Karmvir K. Padda is a Digital Policy Hub doctoral fellow and a Ph.D. candidate in sociology at the University of Waterloo. During her fellowship, she will examine how platform affordances shape the spread of gendered misinformation and extremist discourse across moderated and unmoderated online spaces.
