Bio

Laetitia Cesari is a consultant at the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR). She is also a doctoral researcher at the University of Luxembourg. She specializes in space law and policy, focusing on security and safety aspects, space traffic management and space situational awareness. She also studies the nexus between space and cybersecurity.

Prior to joining UNIDIR, she worked in the space industry, specifically in telecommunications. Before that, she supported the work of national governments on defence and space.

Laetitia is a visiting scholar at the International Institute of Air and Space Law at Leiden University and an associate member at the Institute for Strategic and Defense Studies at l’Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3. She holds a master’s degree in space law and telecommunications from the University of Luxembourg, a master’s degree in aeronautics law from l’Université Toulouse 1 Capitole and a master’s degree in business law from l’Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Laetitia speaks French, English and Italian.
