Mardi Witzel is Chief Operating Officer of Polyalgorithmic Machine Learning Inc (Waterloo Canada), also serving on its board of directors. Mardi is an expert in the field of AI Governance, and member of the global faculty of NuEnergy.ai. A Board Director with 20 years’ experience in not-for-profit board governance, stakeholder engagement and strategic planning, Mardi previously ran her own strategic and governance advisory practice, both directly and through The Governance Boutique, supporting aspiring board members to better understand some of the contemporary topics of corporate governance. Mardi is currently serving a second term as a Public Representative on the Chartered Professional Accountants Ontario (CPA Ontario) Council and previously served as Chair of the Muskoka Watershed Advisory Group and Chair, KidsAbility Foundation. She lives in Waterloo with her husband and their four children.
