Ralph Goodale was a member of Parliament for more than 31 years, serving in both government and opposition in Ottawa and also at the provincial level in Saskatchewan. His federal Cabinet portfolios included agriculture, natural resources, leader of the government in the House of Commons, public works, finance, and public safety and emergency preparedness.
