Tom Hamilton-Baillie is a member of the Centre for Security Sector Management in the Department of Management and Security at the Cranfield University campus in Shrivenham, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom.
With a background in defence and security strategic planning, he has spent most of the last 10 years on the ground in transitional and conflict-affected countries, working chiefly in the area of security development, governance, public administration and policy making in post-conflict transitions. The work has taken him to West, Central and Southern Africa; Indonesia; Iraq; Jamaica; Guyana and Afghanistan.
