Daniel Munro is Visiting Scholar in Innovation Studies and Director of Policy Projects for the Innovation Policy Lab at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto. He is also a Fellow at the Brookfield Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and co-host of The Ethics Lab on 1310 News in Ottawa.
Dan’s research focuses on ethics and public policy, including the ethics of innovation and emerging technologies, distributive justice, and skills and education policy. Previously, Dan was Associate Director of Public Policy at the Conference Board of Canada, Senior Analyst at the Council of Canadian Academies, and has held academic positions in political science and philosophy at the University of Ottawa, Queen’s University and the University of Toronto Mississauga. Dan holds degrees from the University of Toronto (BA), Western University (MA) and M.I.T. (PhD).
