Bio
Emmanuel Acheta was a research financial analyst at the University of Waterloo before becoming a doctoral student at the University of Waterloo’s School of Environment, Resources and Sustainability in the sustainability policy and governance program.
He holds an M.B.A. in financial management from the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University, and a bachelor of commerce (honours) degree from Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda. He is an equator principles (EP) doctoral researcher under the supervision of Olaf Weber. Emmanuel’s doctoral work examines the social and environmental outcomes of the EP on project finance and on project risk management.
