Howard P. Morris is head of the Business Restructuring & Insolvency Group at Morrison & Foerster in London. He has more than 20 years of experience in UK and international restructuring and insolvency work.

He has acted for banks and other secured and unsecured creditors, committees of bondholders, trade creditors, debtors and acquirers of business and assets from insolvent companies. He has experience in international asset tracing and recovery, as well as a strong background in banking and finance. Howard’s experience extends to matters involving the United Kingdom, the United States and a number of other jurisdictions, including continental Europe, Central Asia, Russia, Africa, the Middle East and offshore financial centres.

He is a member of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals. Howard practised for a number of years at the bar before becoming a solicitor. He enjoyed a long career with Dentons, where he served two terms as chief executive and was most recently their global integration partner post-merger. He is an accredited mediator with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution, with a particular interest in mediating disputes arising from restructurings and insolvency proceedings.
