Stephany Griffith-Jones is Financial Markets Director, Initiative for Policy Dialogue, Columbia University.
She was previously professorial fellow at the Institute of Development Studies, Sussex University. She has published widely on international finance, financial crises, and reform of the international financial architecture with particular emphasis on regulation. Her most recent book, Time for a Visible Hand: Lessons from the 2008 World Financial Crisis coedited with Jose Antonio Ocampo and Joseph Stiglitz, was recently published by Oxford University Press.
