Tim McDonnell covers the intersection of climate change and politics, business, food, science, energy and culture, in the United States, sub-Saharan Africa and elsewhere. He was the 2018 National Geographic Explorer in Bangladesh, a 2017 Fellow of the International Reporting Project in Nigeria and 2016 Fulbright-National Geographic Storytelling Fellow.
