The conference Frameworks for Sovereign Debt Restructuring was held at Columbia University on November 17, 2014 with the sponsorship of the Initiative for Policy Dialogue, the Center on Global Economic Governance, the Centre for International Governance Innovation and the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs. Joseph E. Stiglitz is co-president of the IPD, and chairman of the Committee on Global Thought at Columbia University.

Martin Guzman is a CIGI senior fellow and is currently serving as Minister of Economy for Argentina. He is an expert on sovereign debt restructuring, with a specific interest in the sovereign debt crises in Argentina and Greece.

José Antonio Ocampo is co-president of the IPD, professor of professional practice in the School of International and Public Affairs and Fellow of the Committee on Global Thought at Columbia University.

Jan Svejnar is the James T. Shotwell Professor of Global Political Economy and director of the Center on Global Economic Governance at the School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University.
