In this Global Policy Forum presentation, CIGI Senior Fellow Dr. Bessma Momani will cover the landscape of middle east crises and issues absorbing the region today. Dr. Momani will explore topics ranging from ISIS' loss of territory, to the stalemate in Syria, Iraqi political dynamics, the rise of a brash crown prince of Saudi Arabia, the Qatari-Saudi rift, and the regional standoff with Iran.

CIGI Senior Fellow Bessma Momani has a Ph.D. in political science with a focus on international political economy and is full professor and interim assistant vice‑president of international relations at the University of Waterloo.
