“If fully implemented” – these are key words in the final communiqué of the G20 leaders’ following their 2014 summit in Brisbane.  Their action plan lists 1,000 measures developed by member countries, in order to achieve an additional 2 per cent growth in global GDP over five years. CIGI Distinguished Fellow Thomas Bernes asks: will leaders have the political will to take the necessary action, once they are back at home?
