The Centre for International Governance Innovation recently issued a paper on the tiered or differentiated approach to traditional knowledge (TK) and traditional cultural expressions (TCEs). It is authored by Chidi Oguamanam, CIGI senior fellow and expert in global intellectual property law and policy frameworks, and representing Nigeria at the WIPO Intergovernmental Committee on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore (IGC).
