The Centre for International Governance Innovation is partnering with the Euro50 Group to present guest speakers and diverse panel discussion on strengthening the Eurozone. Closing remarks will be given by CIGI Distinguished Fellow Thomas A. Bernes.
This event takes place in the midst of the IMF Annual Meetings. CIGI is sending three fellows to attend the meetings and offer the unique perspectives of a Canadian think tank with a non-partisan, global outlook on the economy. All fellows will be available in Washington for comment and analysis:

Thomas A. Bernes is a CIGI Distinguished Fellow. After a distinguished career in the Canadian public service and at leading international economic institutions, Tom was CIGI’s executive director from 2009 to 2012. He has held high-level positions at the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and the Government of Canada. He became a distinguished fellow in 2012.
