Professor and award-winning author Kamal al-Solaylee speaks about his most recent book, Brown: What Being Brown in the World Today Means (to Everyone). Al-Solaylee shares his research and stories of how migration, labour and being brown is a racialized experience around the globe. Touching upon issues of identity, globalization, migration and global inequality, this lecture will take audiences on a journey through an underexplored dimension of modern life.
