The Spanish National Association of Photovoltaic Energy Producers (Anpier), in collaboration with Greenpeace, has initiated a project inspired by Urgenda, a small civic association that accomplished something seemingly unthinkable a year ago: that a Dutch court force the government of the Netherlands to take greater measures in reducing greenhouse gas quotas. This historical achievement of Urgenda and [CIGI Senior Fellow] Roger Cox, the lawyer who spearheaded the initiative, is hardly known.
