Hosted by CIGI and the Balsillie School of International Affairs, the Global Youth Forum is a free, one-day conference on climate change and sustainability.

Students will learn about the complexity of responding to climate change by describing the causes and impact of the crisis (e.g., fossil fuels, greenhouse gases), expressing the interdependent systems that contribute to the issue (i.e., legal, social, economic), and predicting potential responses and the perspectives from which they arise (i.e., mitigation vs. adaptation).

They will engage in a variety of learning venues including a plenary address, breakout speakers and a panel discussion offered by preeminent scholars from CIGI and the Balsillie School of International Affairs. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
